What is the Ayurvedic Prescription Pad?
The Ayurvedic Prescription Pad is a free online tool for Ayurveda doctors to write a clean, printable prescription in the browser. It includes fields that general prescription makers lack: Kala (when to take a medicine), Anupana (what to take it with) and Pathya (diet advice). The result prints on a single page with your clinic letterhead.
What should an Ayurvedic prescription include?
- Clinic and doctor details: clinic name, doctor name, qualification (e.g. BAMS, MD Ayurveda), registration number, phone, email and address.
- Patient details: name, age, gender, OPD number and date.
- Medicine name: classical formulations (e.g. Tribhuvankirti Rasa) or proprietary medicines.
- Dose: quantity and frequency, e.g. 1 tablet twice a day (BD).
- Kala: when to take it, e.g. before food, after food or at bedtime.
- Anupana: the vehicle, e.g. warm water, honey, ghee or milk.
- Pathya: diet and lifestyle advice, e.g. avoid curd and cold water for 7 days.
How to create a prescription
- Enter the patient’s name, age, gender and OPD number.
- Add each medicine with its dose, Kala and Anupana. A new row appears as you fill the last one.
- Write Pathya diet advice.
- Click print and confirm your clinic and doctor details for the letterhead. They are pre-filled after the first time.
- Print the prescription, or choose Save as PDF to share it with the patient.
Privacy
